Northbuild is a private company, owned and managed by local Queenslanders – many of whom have strong and active connections with the communities in which we work and live.
As a contractor, Northbuild places a high emphasis on respecting the ongoing daily activities of the communities that we work within. The company addresses any potential risks through the implementation of project management plans which include all safety and environmental precautions. Further, the onsite management team undertakes a number of activities that assist in building relationships and communicating with the community. These typically include viewing panels placed in site hoarding, signage denoting progress milestones, letterbox drops, and when appropriate the company has openly invited local groups such as schools to paint the site hoarding with artwork that remains in place for the duration of construction.
As a corporate member of the local community, Northbuild actively provides ongoing support to a number of charitable organisations including WomenSport Queensland – an organisation dedicated to providing opportunities for women and girls in sport. In particular, WomenSport is personally supported by the Northbuild management team with attendances, contributions and involvement at a number of fundraising events throughout the calendar year.
The company also provides ongoing support to local sporting teams and makes a number of perpetual donations to charities including, Drug Arm, Mater Foundation, Salvation Army, St Vincent De Paul, and the Police Citizens Boys Club.
