A new extension and refurbishment of a private hospital on the Redcliffe Peninsula.
Stage 1 entailed the construction of a new rehabilitation wing and an upgrade of the nurses’ station, dining area, office and utility area.
Stage 2 saw the reconfiguration and addition of an extra bedroom, along with the upgrade of the bulk store room and dirty utility room.
Remediation works were undertaken when unplanned challenges became apparent during demolition.
Since the hospital remained operational throughout this project, we often scheduled works on early mornings and weekends to minimise disruption to services.
This was a challenging job with works undertaken whilst the hospital remained operational. Based on the success of this project, RCP would consider Northbuild again for future projects.
